Despite the drink being entirely fictional, the design of the bottle may have taken inspiration from the year-old "Hardy Perfection Fire" Cognac. They end up drinking a whole bottle and leave before Ken discovers the amount of the bill. Jimmy McGill buys a bottle to share with Kim Wexler after he's confident that the Sandpiper case is going to be settled. Kim Wexler is too busy preparing for her newest client, Billy Gatwood , and agrees to join him later, before leaving to attend her meeting.
After Kim leaves, Jimmy then proceeds to open the bottle and have a shot with Francesca Liddy in Kim's absence. After Chuck's suicide, Kim pulls out the bottle and drinks with Jimmy, ultimately finishing the bottle. Jimmy prepares to buy a bottle of the tequila in preparation for his and Kim Wexler 's victory over Howard Hamlin when he spots something that ruins their plan. Jimmy takes off, leaving the bottle behind without buying it.
Gustavo Fring , Mike Ehrmantraut , and Jesse Pinkman visit the cartel's hacienda after Jesse is acquired by the cartel. Don Eladio Vuente spots the gift box that Gus has bought him and is delighted to see the premium tequila inside, but unbeknownst to him and everyone else, Gus has poisoned it.
Don decides to share the tequila with the rest of the cartel, and has his waiters pour shots for everyone except Gaff and Mike. Don Eladio takes Jesse's shot back after Gus states that Jesse is an addict and needs to stay sober to do his work. Poised for a toast, Don Eladio stops and warily eyes Gus, non-verbally telling him to drink first. He does, and after a toast, the entire cartel then drinks the tequila. After bringing a bunch of women out, Gus asks to use the bathroom, and Don Eladio has a capo escort him there.
