Frisco ISD has ongoing openings for the following positions complete application to apply :. Building Custodian. Primary Purpose: Clean and maintain district facilities using routine procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations and grounds. Have working knowledge of janitorial services including operating cleaning equipment and handling cleaning supplies according to established safety procedures.
Complete assigned cleaning schedule that may include cleaning floors, wastebaskets, windows, furniture, equipment, restrooms, and other areas as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds on a daily basis Bilingual is preferred. Working Conditions: Maintain emotional control under stress. Heavy lifting and carrying 45 pounds and over on a daily basis. Work outside and inside, on slippery or uneven walking surfaces; frequent exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures, dust, toxic chemicals and materials; regularly work irregular hours; occasional prolonged hours.

Bus Driver. Primary Purpose: Transport students safely and efficiently from one location to another. Assist students with safe boarding, travel, and exiting. Conduct daily pre and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical problems with the bus or other district vehicles. Keep bus clean inside and out and fuel bus as needed. Maintain positive relationships with other employees, parents, and public. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to obtain a CDL with passenger, air brake and safety endorsements Must complete 20 hour TEA Safety Certification class Ability to maneuver effectively in a school bus and lift up to 30 pounds Ability to physically perform a front and back door bus evacuation and to perform CPR and first aid techniques on the ground or floor Ability to walk the equivalent of at least one mile daily Must pass annual and random Department of Transportation DOT physical and drug testing.
