This is a chain, which typically means a high risk of cross-contact. It may not be possible to dine safely at this establishment if you are celiac or must avoid cross-contact. BJs is just another chain restaurant. My daughters burger was burnt. It has no flavor at all. She said the GF bun was gross. We had the GF pesto pizza and it was just bad. The pizookie was the last bite of disappointment and it was only tolerable because they cover it with ice cream. Have a decent selection of gluten free items marked on their menu including sandwich, burgers with gluten free bun, salads, pizza and pie zoomkie for dessert.
I had an awesome salad with real turkey not lunchmeat , cheese, avocados, cucumbers, tomatoes, crisp bacon, romaine lettuce and honey mustard. So good and huge! Sadly Bjs has become a hit or miss Family has been here countless times, the broccoli cheddar soup is very yummy! Also the GF pizzokie is pretty good I have celiac.
I had the pizza and pizookie. Was on the toilet 40 minutes later. Not for celiacs. I have safely eaten gluten free pizza and gluten free pizookie here. The staff is friendly and helpful. I'm inclined to say these folks take gluten free seriously, for now anyway. One day I'll try something else on their gluten free menu. I have not eaten there for about a month but if you ask for [email protected] menu bring a magdifine sp?
They have pizza with gluten free crust. It was very delicious, the crust was very soft. I love BJ's Brewhouse! We have been several times and I have never had any issue, and I am very sensitive. I have always ordered the pizza and it is delicious! I have had the pizookie several times as well.
GF menu and staff say they mark tickets GF allergen if you ask them. I always ask the manager to get involved in hotside operations, to ensure busy staff are not overlooking GF processes. Staff and managers are always GF friendly. Our family has not had any problems with GF cross contamination here.
