To access campus buildings, visitors must be sponsored by a current NYU student, faculty member, or employee. They can be one-time guests, visiting scholars, guest lecturers, conference attendees, NYU alumni, or business vendors who provide goods or services to the University and are visiting campus temporarily.

Does your visitor need to arrive a day early or stay a few hours later? No problem. Now you can make updates to your visitor request directly within the system. The updated interface improves community member and Campus Safety Officer user experiences, offering more efficient, consistent sponsorship and guest services across the University.
Once the visitor sponsorship process is completed, the sponsor and the visitor will receive an email noting the approval of their request. All visitors to campus must be sponsored by an active NYU community member.
You, as the sponsor, and your visitor s will be notified via email when your visitor request has been received and processed. Visitors will then be added to Campus Safety's visitor access list and will need to present a government-issued photo ID card to the Campus Safety Officer for entry visitors under 18 years of age can provide non-government identification.
