Inaugurated in , it housed the fire station of the city of Reims for nearly 70 years. In , after several years of abandonment, the building became La Caserne Chanzy. Spread over 5, m2, the former fire station is part of the Art Deco architectural heritage that marks the reconstruction of Reims in the s. The Chanzy Barracks houses a hotel with 89 rooms, half of which offer a breathtaking view of the Cathedral.
