Besides being a complete treasure trove of veteran info and stories the real highlight of the whole thing is the dynamic between DDV and AMVK! Mildly bickering and disagreeing with each other throughout. The convo about whether or not DDV eats healthily is unforgettable. AMVK wearily complaining that he eats raw meat and sambal for breakfast while he shrugs in a casually incredulous manner is my favourite moment of all WCN episodes.
Nice to hear them talk a bit about the Broken Flag performance. It was indeed so remarkable because of how unlike anything else that took place that weekend. For this reason and others it was probably the highlight for me. Excellent to hear too about some of the early performances and formation of Club Moral in general. I think Oskar went out slightly on a limb with this one, not only due to the in person format with 2 camera angles and clip on mics!
I think it is all for the better to be exposing and talking about these things even on quite a specific platform like this. The finishing comments about how perhaps art historians etc might want to start asking questions of the group whilst they're still alive is quite potent and I do think a real service has been done creating this video.
You want to believe that the efforts made here will be significant and useful way, way past the current cycle of online content interest we're currently all subject too.
