They were in the process of remodeling, dust was everywhere fire doors were open, the hot tub had old green looking water left in it. Hotel did not take our pre paid reservation from Agoda. Agoda will not return our calls for our refund, had to contact our credit card to try to get our money back. The hotel is the older "resort" style hotel. And it was ok If you are ok with cheap hotels, this one is not bad.
I have come to expect a great experience at Hilton Hotels. But, this was seriously lacking at the Montgomery location. The bed frames showed wear and tear. This was the first thing I notice upon entering the room. The staff said, the hotel will not get an upgrade until ! Only one hotel elevator location. I identified to the staff the right elevator was NOT working.
Maintenance staff reset the elevator. The elevators were NOT usable for over 45 minutes. This was in the morning time frame. A burden on couple with children and elderly. Everyone had to take the stairwell. A stairwell and a stroller is NOT a good pair! Just a note on value. Both Agoda and Hilton web site listed the rooms for the same cost. Each time I visit, I encounter Ms. Nora Thomas! My favorite hotel employee across the country.
One of our 2 rooms was not clean, we were moved to a second room that was under construction bath was half way remodeled ,and smelled of cleaning solutions. We left our door open half the night just to try and air the room out. This was at the end of 12 hours of driving, road construction, and highway accidents. We will never stay there again. The room was fantastic when we arrived. The hotel was relatively quiet at night with the occasional noise coming from I I had no issues with this hotel, and if I return to Montgomery, I will choose to stay there.
We were traveling back from Florida with our camper and dog and had a long day with horrible storms. I was able to make reservations on my phone during our drive through Dog Friendly Hotel site. What a wonderful hotel and no hassle bringing our tired dog in as well! Will definitely stay there again and recommend to friends. The room we were given was a nice suite with a very comfortable bed. The staff was very helpful and kind. I would recommend this hotel.
