A Grand Junction teen who pleaded guilty in the beating death of his girlfriend in Utah was sentenced Monday to spend at least 15 years and up to life in prison. According to our sister station in Salt Lake City, Bagshaw said he was very sorry for everything that's happened. In exchange for his plea, prosecutors agreed to recommend Bagshaw get credit for time served since his arrest in Grand Junction in October Kasprzak was beaten to death, and her body was found in the Jordan River in Utah in She was 15 years old.
Bagshaw was 14 at the time. Investigators say now year-old Bagshaw thought Kasprzak was pregnant when he killed her, but medical examiners found that she was not. Skip to content. Election Results.
