The Howard County Police Department is committed to informing the community and the news media of events within the public domain in a timely manner. The Office of Public Affairs issues news releases, responds to media inquiries, manages social media, and produces a daily crime bulletin. News releases are issued for significant events and cases.
The daily crime bulletin is produced each weekday when county offices are open and includes the initial reporting of various crimes such as robberies, burglaries, assaults, vehicle thefts, and theft from vehicles.

Two adult victims reported that they were in the parking lot at the above location when a male suspect entered one of the vehicles, threatened and assaulted one of the victims, and fled with one of the victims in the vehicle.
